An athlete and native New Yorker, Sy grew up playing sports and practicing martial arts. After attending Marist College, he played professional poker for a number of years and quickly realized that his lifestyle was not supportive to his physical and mental health. Focused on his own repair and recovery, he immersed himself into the fitness world and in 2012 became an ACE certified trainer and group fitness instructor through NCCA.
With a passion for working one on one, Sy trains his clients through an individualized approach with the goal of working smarter, not harder. He developed methods to focus on key areas like the core and hips, as well as addressing other weaknesses throughout one’s anatomy. Sy’s key philosophy is “attack weakness to build strength.”
